moi

pronoun

/mwah/ [French for “me”]

  1. In this book, I sometimes use the word “moi” in place of “me” to indicate that I’m caricaturing or lampooning some self-important, pretentious swine who is putting his own ego first and other people last.

“You’re so selfish” means “You were thinking of yourself when you should have been thinking of moi. You should have been catering to MY selfishness.”
