Excerpt from my book (in progress)
From the chapter on ~subject:
Rudeness is anything which tends to cause distance in relationships. Most rudeness occurs by accident; in other words, most rudeness is committed by ignorant people who are unaware of the consequences of their actions.
We live in the information age. There are now many websites where anyone can go to learn people skills. ~
Remember that there’s a difference between rudeness and evil. ~ When properly used, rudeness is a tool, and like any dangerous tool, it should be used with care and with restraint. For example: The correct reaction to an abusive relationship is to create more distance. This means it is appropriate to be rude to people who treat you badly.
